Hi, I’m Esther, a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, mom and born and bred NewYorker. I take a personalized and holistic approach to help busy women take ownership of their health without restriction or dieting. Through 1:1 coaching I empower women to eat and live to achieve vibrant energy, clarity and calm.
The journey to where I am today, all started with food. When I became a mom and I started to pay more attention to cooking healthier and focused on nutritious, healthy and delicious foods – after all I am a foodie! However it wasn’t until I realized that my energy crashes, stomach bloating, digestive distress was NOT normal and getting in the way of my everyday life, I started digging deeper into nutrition and healing through food. I was frustrated with feeling tired, bloated and moody.
Soon I was spending every spare minute I had engrossed in food blogs, wellness articles, health podcasts, cookbooks of all kinds. ALL of IT. It was during a sudden life transition that I had the opportunity to engage in my passion for health and wellness and enrolled in a health coach certification program – the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
What I discovered through this whole journey was that it all starts with real, whole food, but health does NOT end there. Finding balance, managing stress, fulfillment in your career and relationships can be far more nourishing to us than any green smoothie can. Of course it all works together and this is what fascinates me the most.
I’m passionate about empowering you to take control of your own health and really learn to listen to your body because it knows best. Learning to make the best choices for you will take time and practice. We were never taught this stuff and it’s a noisy world out there with conflicting information, trends and diets. About my approach and training
Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated. We work on what they want to improve within the circumstances of their unique situation.
I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between.
My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with my clients to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.
Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationships as well as career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.
